4-H enrollment begins Oct. 1.
To enroll in Nodaway County 4-H, please go to 4-H Online(opens in new window), set up a profile for your family, and enter members and volunteers.
New 4-H families/members
- Email address (this will be how you log in).
- Think of a password for your new family 4-H account.
- Youth members present to hear/read and "sign" authorizations
- The name of member's club and the list of projects that each member plans to do this year (members must list at least one project)
- You can pay by cash or check to your local club. If you are paying by check, make the check payable to your club. When the clubs have collected all dues, they will submit a check to the 4-H Council for their members.
Important things to know when you enroll
- Choose "Nodaway County" regardless of the county you live in.
- Parent information is part of each member's record, so parents (who are not volunteers) do not need to add their own record
- All volunteers will need to enter their information in a record.
- "Shooting Sports Safety" Project is required for all new shooting sports members. We must record that you took this class. So please add it, even if you already took the class before enrolling this year.
- Horsemanship members and Volunteers must add the "Horse Riding" Project if they are going to be around real horses at all, whether or not the individual owns a horse. If members are ONLY studying about horses and will not actually see or touch a real horse, then they can enroll in "Horseless Horse." The 4-H insurance may only cover horse related injuries if the member or volunteer injured as enrolled in "horse riding."
- Member enrollment pending: Members' enrollments remain "pending" until: Payment has been processed at the State 4-H Office.
- Volunteer enrollment pending: Volunteers' enrollments remain "Pending" until:
- Volunteer applications (physical signature) are received and approved, and
- Volunteer completes the one-time volunteer orientation. (Online or face to face, contact Extension Office for dates and times).
- You will not be officially enrolled until you complete the online enrollment.
Returning families/members
- You may re-enroll Oct. 1.
- You must go online to update your profile to enroll and confirm accuracy.
- Check/Update address, phone, contact, email, etc.
- Login with your email address and password from last year.
- You can use "I forgot my password" button for reset if needed.
- The name of member's club and the list of projects that each member plans to do this year (members must list at least one project)
- You can pay by cash or check to your club.
Pay dues by cash or check
4-H state dues are $20 per year payable to your club. This year, the Nodaway County 4-H council will pay $10 of the enrollment dues for each 4-H member. Please do not pay your yearly dues by credit card. Make the check payable to your club. When clubs have collected all dues, they will submit a check to the 4-H Council for their members. The following list is how club members should write checks:
- Burlington Junction Lucky Shamrocks 4-H Club
- Busy Bee 4-H Club
- Graham 4-H Club
- Jefferson 4-H Club
- Maryville 4-H Club
- Mt. Tabor 4-H Club
- North Nodaway 4-H Club
- Northeast Bluejays 4-H Club
Additional club fees or cues should be paid directly to your club (by cash or check) regardless of how you pay the general registration fee.
Nodaway County payment information: The Nodaway County 4-H Council does not want the membership dues to be the reason that a child does not join 4-H. If your family has circumstances that make paying the dues difficult, please contact the 4-H youth specialist about financial assistance.
