Synopsis This five-day course will help you, the instructor, understand and improve your use of techniques and methods for effective teaching. You will also gain an awareness and appreciation of the instructor’s overall role in the training process.
Topics include the following:
- Principles of Learning
- Lesson Plan Construction
- Methods of Instruction
- Test Construction and Validation
- Source Document Construction
- Legal Aspects of Training
Requirements: You must bring a laptop computer with presentation software. Download instructions for open source (free) presentation software will be provided to class registrants in the welcome email. Begin to think about a topic for your sample lesson plan. For a head start, bring the source documents to class on the first day.
Registration fee: $600
Registration is limited to 18 participants, and enrollments will be taken on a first-come, first served basis. Early registration is advised.
*In the interest of continuity of instruction, we will be incorporating a “working lunch” for each day of class.
*We would encourage participants to either bring their lunch (refrigerator and microwave on site) or arrangements can be made for food to be delivered
