University of Missouri Extension in Cole County in collaboration with Central Missouri Master Gardeners (CMMG) is organizing a full-day Spring Garden Seminar. 

The seminar provides education to the gardeners about various horticultural topics including residential landscape design- live, fundamental plant pathology and disease diagnosis. Participants will also learn about history of tomato festival in Jefferson farm- University of Missouri, Columbia. Participants also learn about flower production in central Missouri from a commercial flower producer and/or one of the members of Central Missouri Master Gardeners. 

There will be a garden IPM session among the participants facilitated by Central Missouri Master Gardener members. 

This is a free program. Participants need to bring their own lunch. 

Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their beverage container. 

Participants need to register to attend the program.

  7. Garden IPM Session: Jim Quinn, Diane Spieker, Ed Vitela, Dottie Bayne and Angie Bayne - 2:30 to 4:00 pm
