Joe serves as the Assistant Director for the Office of Health Outreach, Policy, & Education, which is comprised of five departments across three different organizations within the University of Missouri community – Community Health & Engagement Outreach (CHEO – Extension), Continuing Education for Health Professions (CEHP – Extension), the Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN) & Show-Me ECHO program (School of Medicine), Rural Scholars Program (School of Medicine), and Center for Health Policy (CHP – College of Health Sciences).  Prior to this role, he served as both Partner Management Specialist and Associate Director of Operations at the Missouri Telehealth Network & Show-Me ECHO program.  Other positions Joe has held over the years include Central Region Director for the Office of Licensure & Certification at the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Detective, Patrolman, and CIT Coordinator at the University of Missouri Police Department, and Assistant General Manager at Westfield Palm Desert as well as Management Associate at Westfield Mid Rivers.

Joe holds both Master of Public Affairs and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from the University of Missouri.
