The Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents course provides training on, and resources for, personnel who require advanced application of the ICS. The course expands upon information covered in the ICS 100 and ICS 200 courses. Topics covered include: Unified Command; Incident assessment and incident objectives; the Planning process; Incident resource management; Demobilization; and Transfer of command.
Prerequisites
Participants are required to have completed either
- The NIMS: ICS for the Fire Service, or
- Equivalent 100 and 200 level ICS courses
Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST)
- 24 hours Technical
Continuing education units (CEUs)
- EMS: EMT/Paramedic/Registered Nurse - Operations 24 hours
U.S. National Fire Academy (NFA)
- This course curriculum is developed and maintained by the National Fire Academy and is delivered in compliance with the standards of the National Fire Academy off-campus program. Courses are registered and approved through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety as the NFA State Training Partner. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a National Fire Academy certificate of completion.
