Jackson County 4-H Foundation
The Missouri 4-H Foundation works closely with the Jackson County 4-H Foundation to manage funds and provide scholarships for 4-H members in Jackson County.
Academic scholarships
Thanks to generous support from the Jackson County 4-H Foundation, the Missouri 4-H Foundation offers the following academic scholarships to current or former 4-H members in Jackson County:
Renewable Jackson County 4-H Foundation Scholarship
Applicants must be a current or former Jackson County 4-H member for three consecutive years. The scholarship is renewable for up to an additional 3 years, dependent on maintaining a 2.50 GPA at an accredited college, university, technical, or trade school.
Jason Barnes Memorial 4-H Equine Scholarship
Applicants must have participated in 4-H equine projects. Preference is given to 4-H equine project applicants from Jackson County. Second preference will be given to 4-H equine project applicants from neighboring counties in the Northwest Region, and third preference to 4-H equine applicants statewide.

Trip scholarships
Thanks to generous support from the Jackson County 4-H Foundation, the Missouri 4-H Foundation provides full or partial trip scholarships for 4-H youth from Jackson County for the following national 4-H leadership opportunities:
- Citizenship Washington Focus
- International Exchange Trips
- National 4-H Congress
- National Horse Bowl
- National Hippology
