Talent Management Leadership Institute
The MU Talent Management Leadership Institute is a two-day training for human resource professionals. The Leadership Institute will provide a comprehensive overview of trending topics in human resource management, focusing on performance management, conflict resolution, and career progression planning.
Through a series of workshops covering a range of HR topics, participants are equipped to enhance their effectiveness in managing personnel and organizational dynamics.

Continuing education
MU Career Accelerator is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. Individuals who participate in the Talent Management Leadership Institute will receive 14 PDCs.

Registration for the 2025 MU Talent Management Leadership Institute cohort closes on December 15, 2024. Spots are limited.

Instructors
- Dr. Christie McCullough, Assistant Teaching Professor in the Management Department at the Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri. McCullough’s professional experience includes management consulting and work as a manager in the telecommunications and real estate industries. Her current consulting work focuses on increasing employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Dr. Chris Robert, Management Department Chair and Pinkney C. Walker Professor of Teaching Excellence in the Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri. Robert received his PhD from the University of Illinois in industrial/organizational psychology. He studies humor at work, as well as cross-cultural management, workplace conflict, and work groups and teams.
- Dr. Gay Albright, Associate Dean of Academic Programs in the Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri. Albright worked in industry for 15 years and obtained Human Resources Management experience working for companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, The Dial Corp, and Arch Coal. In that capacity, she managed all functional areas of HR while implementing organizational redesign and continuous improvement strategies. She continues to work with employers by consulting on strategic development processes, human resources systems, employee training and development programs, and executive coaching.
