Certificate in Public Management

The noncredit certificate in Public Management is offered by the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs. Through this two-course certificate, working professionals will gain the skills to become ethical and responsible public servants who can effectively manage people, budgets, and organizations. Individuals who complete the certificate will be well positioned to begin or advance in a public service career.
The online, stand-alone certificate in Public Management may be completed in sixteen weeks. Each course is eight weeks long. There are two course options in the fall and two course options in the spring. Any pairing is permitted.
Course details
Continuing Education
Individuals enrolled in the certificate program will receive 4.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for each course successfully completed.
Additionally, this is a pathway noncredit certificate that has the potential to be converted to future academic credit to get certificate holders one step closer to attaining a degree. - 10% discount for graduates of Missouri's public, regionally accredited community colleges who are Missouri residents
The noncredit pathway is eligible for the Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant through the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development.
