Youth can build leadership through 4-H in many ways: trying hard, learning new things, identifying positive leaders, and even making mistakes. Leadership skills are built over time and the activities in this curriculum will help youth choose their path.

This curriculum provides youth the opportunity to identify traits of positive leaders, discuss different leadership styles, explore various leadership themes from history, and find a leadership style for themselves. Finally, the project leader can guide youth through the steps of fundraising and service-learning activities.
