Where EAB has been found
EAB has spread significantly since its original detection in the Detroit area back in 2002, and as one can see from this map, there are still a lot of vulnerable locations across the United States.
EAB has not become established in every corner of the impacted states and provinces, including Missouri. There are still many EAB-free locations and it is very important that we do all we can to prevent the further spread of EAB.
The first detection of EAB in Missouri was in 2008 at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Greenville Recreation Area in Wayne County. The map below shows the Missouri counties that have been affected by EAB.
