A public advocacy voice of conservationists, educators and woodland owners for privately owned woodlands to promote healthy, productive and sustainable forests and trees.
Researchers from multiple disciplines, including entomology, plant pathology, horticulture, agronomy, animal science and agroforestry, combine research efforts to address an array of issues. Integrated studies of crop, livestock and forestry practices are occurring, as is the development of superior lines for timber and nut meat production.
The association serves and promotes the forest products industry of Missouri. MFPA has more than 300 members representing primary and secondary wood industry, supplier and service industries plus loggers and landowners who advocate sustainable management and sound stewardship of Missouri’s forests to benefit current and future generations.
