As a Field Specialist in Nutrition and Health Education, Sidney provides educational opportunities in the Kansas City, Urban West Region. The programs offered meet the needs and wants of Platte, Jackson, and Clay counties. Overall, education is provided around wellness, physical activity, nutrition, falls prevention, food safety, and chronic disease prevention and management. Sidney fulfills a link between the communities she serves and the University of Missouri system.
